Abstract
There are numerous papers in the literature (I, 2, 4, 5, 7, 3, and 10 are just a few) in which multiple regression has been used as the major or only basis for interpretation of plant analysis results. Some papers report only the conclusions based on regression analysis, while a few have also reported actual data and/or resulting regression statistics. These latter papers provide a basis for comparisons of conclusions based on regression analyses (often using an inappropriate model) wii:h those based on interpretation from a graphic presentation of yield-nutrient concentration relationships.
