Abstract

The P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Zn, Mn, Cu, Fe and B contents of groundnut seeds were determined for cv. Early Bunch, Florigiant, Florunner and Tifrun grown with or without irrigation at 6 locations in Georgia, Texas and Virginia. There were significant location effects for all elements except S and significant cv. effects for all elements except Mg and Cu. There was a significant cv. x location interaction for Mg and Fe. Seed P was significantly higher with than without irrigation. There were significant positive correlations between seed Ca content and total precipitation, and between seed Mg and soil Mg contents.
