Abstract
Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] genotypes usually yield about the same under high K fertility as under moderate K fertility. The objective of this study was to verify the results of a preliminary screening test, which revealed that the FC31702 and ‘Lincoln’ genotypes were responsive and nonresponsive, respectively, to high K fertility. FC31702 and Lincoln soybeans were grown under moderate (approximately 130 kg K/ha) and high (approximately 193 kg K/ha) K fertility on a Beltsville silt loam soil for 3 years. ‘Cutler,’ a recommended cultivar for Maryland, also was included the last 2 test years. Seed yield and percent K in the leaves during the growing season were determined
