Abstract
Data are tabulated from the analysis of variance for combining ability and on general combining ability effects for 14 yield components in a line X tester analysis of 3 male sterile lines and 12 male parents. The 36 F1 hybrids were compared with 3 female parents (fertile counterparts of the male sterile lines), 12 male parents and controls. For each character the best female and male parents and general combiners, best F1 and best specific combination are identified
