Abstract
Metolachlor, a herbicide with excellent grass killing activity, can now be used successfully in grain sorghum provided the sorghum seed has been treated with CGA 43089. Results have shown that when metolachlor is used at double the recommended dosage rate some transient injury may occur under conditions associated with high rainfall, low cation exchange capacity of the soil and deep planting. This injury is, however, completely out grown and has no effect on yield...
