Abstract

The effects of single and compound NPK fertilizers on various crops including potatoes, wheat, sesame, cotton, sorghum, sugar beet and maize were studied in Saudi Arabia, Syria and Jordan. Good water supply and weed control were prerequisites for efficient fertilizer response. Compound NPK fertilizers generally gave the best results
