Abstract
Sorghum hybrid CSH-1 and CSH-5 and cv. CS-3541 given 100 kg N + 50 kg P2O5 + 50 kg K2O/ha gave yields of 5.02, 5.81 and 3.61 t grain and 8.5, 9.6 and 8.9 t fodder [stover]/ha, resp. There was no significant difference in yield between 3 depths (5, 10 and 15 cm) of placement of fertilizers in between the rows and 3 dates of application, viz. 50 or 75% of NPK at sowing and the remainder 30 days after, or the full rate at sowing
