Abstract

In trials with sorghum hybrid CSH-5 given irrigations scheduled at the irrigation water (IW):cumulative pan evaporation (CPE) ratios of 0.6, 0.75, 0.9 or 1.05 and fertilized with 0-150 kg N/ha, irrigating the crops at IW:CPE ratio of 0.75, which amounted to 42 cm water applied in 7 irrigations each of 6 cm, together with application of 133 kg N/ha was the best treatment for increasing grain yields
