Abstract
In pot trials, effects of applying 5-20 t cotton leaves and/or 15-45 p.p.m. Fe to black calcareous and red soils given NPK on changes in Ca:Fe, P:Fe, K:Ca, Fe:Mn, Fe:Zn and Fe:Cu ratios in 30- and 60-day-old sorghum plants, grain and straw were determined. The DM production in 30- and 60-day-old plants and grain and straw yields were negatively correlated with Ca:Fe and P:Fe ratios and were positively correlated with Fe:Mn, Fe:Zn and Fe:Cu ratios; correlations between yield and the other parameters and K:Ca ratio were not significant
