Abstract
Three genes conditioning nodulation responses in soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merrill] have been reported (1, 4, 5).The recessive gene rj1 (formerly no) conditions a nonnodulating response in soybean when inoculated with all strains of Rhizobiura japonicum (Kirchner)Buchanan (5).
