Abstract
In 1947, a yield test of BC,S, selections from the cross Lincoln x (Lincoln x Richland) was grown at Urbana, Ill., and at Stonington, Ill. In early August it was noted that all four replications of strain L6-1743 showed a yellow leaf color in the Urbana test. At first it was thought that this was a chlorophyll mutation, but when the strain was examined at Stonington the leaves were found to have a normal green color.
