Abstract
Grain and fodder yields of winter sorghum cv. M 35-l grown under dryland conditions of Maharashtra were significantly increased with 25-50 kg N/ha; the difference between the 2 N levels was not significant. Yields were slightly higher with N placed 10 cm deep and 5 cm away from the seed at sowing than when applied in 4 split dressings (at sowing and as 3 foliar sprays
