Abstract
In pot trials with sorghum cv. CS-3541 (male parent of hybrid CSH-5), plants grown with 50% available soil moisture (ASM) flowered 81 days after sowing; flowering in plants grown with 75, 100 and 25% ASM was delayed by 1, 6 and 11.5 days, resp., indicating that duration to flowering in this cv. can be altered by adjusting the soil m.c.
