Abstract

Grain yields of sorghum hybrid cv. CSH-1 were increased from 1.66 t/ha without N to 4.25 t in 1973 and from 1.36 to 3.36 t in 1974 with 150 kg applied N/ha and were not further increased with 200 kg N/ha. Fresh fodder yields were increased from 5.67 to 8.57 t/ha in 1973 and from 3.58 to 6.1 t/ha in 1974 with 200 kg N/ha. Yield components were significantly improved with applied N. Grain and fodder yields and yield components were not affected with applied P2O5 at 40-120 kg/ha. N X P interaction was not significant
