Abstract

Viruses were isolated from a number of Philippine weed spp. including Chenopodium amaranticolor, Datura metel, D. stramonium, Rotboellia exaltata, Digitaria sanguinalis, Paspalum conjugatum, Echinochloa colonum, Pueraria trilobata and Crotolaria spp. The transmission and host ranges of the viruses on economic plants such as cucumber, tomato, Nicotiana glutinosa, tobacco and potato was studied
