Abstract
Thc use of pre-harvest fungic~de sprays to control lnternally seed-borne fungi, as determind by assay, has been reponed in common bean, cowpea, pigeon pea, sorghum, soybean, and wheat with results that are promising in tropics, subtropics and temperate regions. The results from spraying these crops for control of internally seed-borne species of Cercospora, Colletotrichum, Fusarium, Lasiodiplodia, phomopsis, Rhizoctonia, and Septoria are reviewed. The association of Alternaria spp. with seeds of plants sprayed with preharvest fungicides is discussed
