Abstract

Trials in Texas and Oklahoma demonstrated the potential of trifluralin as a post-em. treatment for grain sorghum. A rolling cultivator was used to incorporate the chemical, thereby moving treated soil into the sorghum row. Optimum time for application was after secondary root formation, while it was important to ensure that there was adequate soil cover for the roots before treatment
