Abstract

The trials reported confirmed the post-em. selectivity of trifluralin in grain sorghum and maize. The optimum time for application was when the crop was 12-18 in high, using the normal rate or three-quarters of the normal rate. Rolling or sweep cultivators set to place about 1 in of treated soil in the row provided the most suitable means of incorporation
