Abstract

Sorghum grown in rows 45 and 60 cm apart gave similar grain yields. Intercropping of safflower, groundnut, soyabean, pea or wheat in sorghum grown in rows 60 cm apart had no adverse effect on sorghum grain yield and gave additional seed/pod/grain yields of 300-620 kg/ha; intercropping with soyabean and groundnut gave the highest net profit
