Abstract

In mature and developing seeds of sorghum cv. (a) CSV-5 and (b) IS 11758, glutamate dehydrogenase patterns were identical and alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) isoenzymes were different between the 2 cv. Changes in ADH patterns occurred during development. Esterase patterns at the milk ripe stage and at maturity differed quantitatively and qualitatively. Differences in isoenzyme patterns of esterase and peroxidase were seen in mature seeds using gel electrophoresis and isoelectric focusing
