Abstract
Six T. viride isolates and one T. harzianum isolate were screened for their efficacy against P. drechsleri by dual culture test. All the biological control agents significantly inhibited mycelial growth. Maximum inhibition (65.9%) was exhibited by T. viride isolate 1 (pigeon pea rhizosphere isolate). This isolate, applied as seed treatment, resulted in the highest pea vigour index (1092.8) and lowest disease incidence in pigeon pea (2.0%).
