Abstract

Field tests in India in 1975 showed that intercropping sorghum with various leguminous crops resulted in an increased incidence of dead hearts due to Atherigona soccata Rond. (varia soccata). It was suggested that the increased fly damage may have resulted from intercropping having changed the microclimate
