Abstract

Field-plot tests at Poona, Maharashtra State, India, during 1969 showed that application of a fertilizer such as ammonium sulphate at the same time (sowing) as that of phorate granules at a rate of 1.875 kg toxicant/ha and frequent irrigation (about every four days) effectively reduced the incidence of Atherigona Soccata Rond. (Varia soccata) on sorghum
