Abstract
In 1974, greenbug, corn leaf aphid, and Banks grass mite populations were controlled by most of the pesticidal soil treatments used. Grain yields were increased in all treatments, but yields from the disulfoton treatments were highest. Sidedress treatments were better than furrow treatments for seasonal ccntrol of arthropods. The pesticides were depleted in the furrow before those in the sidedress treatments. Furrow pesticides were applied two days after planting or 53 days before those of the sidedress... treatments
