Abstract

The work on chemical control of shootfly, stem borer and army worm was conducted at several places by many workers. As a result of these efforts, the treat ments with carbofuron as seed dressor (1) was reported to be quite effactive, while foliar sprays with carbaryl (2), endrin, endosulfan, dimethoate and malathion (3) were not proved to be satisfactory in the control of shoot fly...
