Head blastlng in sorghum has been observed for many years and is usually thought to be associated with moisture and heat stress. The results of blasting can range from the complete absence of floral parts to nearly normal sized floral parts wlth no grain. The stage of plant development at which moisture stress is most likely to cause blasting has not been clearly determined...
