Abstract
Pre-em. application of 0.5-1 kg atrazine a.i./ha to sorghum in the kharif [monsoon] and summer seasons was effective against weeds and gave av. grain yields of 1.77 t/ha, compared with 1.61 t with hand-weedings and 1.41 t without weed control. Application of 0.75-1.5 kg 2,4-D/ha gave lower yields
