Abstract

JOWAR is an important kharif crop of Jabalpur district, Madhya Pradesh which occupied nearly 20 per ccnt cf its total cropped area. The total production of jowar in this district during 1970-71 was 13.3 thousand tons giving an average of 7.08 quintals per hectare which is far below its own genetic potentials of 29.34 quintals per hectare...
