Abstract
In field trials in 1970-2, similar trials to those described in the preceding abstract were carried out using sorghum. It was concluded that the field technique could be used when plants were 35-40 days old to predict the need for applied N and could be used at the soft-dough stage to indicate the application of excess N during the season
