Abstract

Effects of 44.8-89.6 kg N and 22.4-67.2 kg P2O5/ha in different combinations on grain yield of sorghum cv. NJ164 were determined in 1965-7 in the Upper Damodar Valley of Chotanagpur region, Bihar, where sorghum was then a recent introduction. Av. yields with 44.8, 67.2 and 89.6 kg N/ha were 2.28, 2.92 and 3.04 t/ha, resp.; P had no significant effect
