Abstract
In 1972, research was initiated at the North Plains Research Field, Etter, to determine the ability of grain sorghum to yield grain when plants were cut at various heights at different stages of growth. A medium-late maturity hybrid, RS 671, was planted on May 20 and June 1,and a medium-early hybrid, RS 626, was planted on June 10 and June 20. Plants of each hybrid and planting date were cut at three different heights on specified dates during the growing season...
