Abstract
The aqueous plant extracts of Semicarpus anacardium L. f., Diospyros melanoxylon Roxb., Buchanania lanzan Spreng. and Sapindus emarginatus Vahl were screened for their antifungal properties against pigeonpea wilt pathogen, Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. udum Butler, isolated from 7 different varietiesof pigeonpea viz. PUSA-992, BDN-2, BDN-708, ICPL-87119, ICP-8863, ICP-2376andAKT-9913. Among the four plants tested the bark extract of S. anacardium and leaf extract of S. emarginatus record significant antifungal activity against isolates of F. oxysporum f.sp. udum
