Abstract
Seed germination in a number of new or previously-listed species was tested in different countries on various substrates. Recommendations or amendments to existing prescriptions in the International Rules are proposed. The 15 species tested included soyabean, rice, Sorghum sudanense, S. bicolor, Stylosanthes guyanensis, safflower, Crotalaria juncea, cotton, castor and Vigna unguiculata
