Abstract
The method, involving rapid blender extraction of the sample with aqueous acetonitrile and subsequent adsorption onto an alumina and silica gel column, was applied to cotton seed, soybean and other seeds, various grains and nuts. As little as 10 mu g aflatoxin/kg was detected and approx. contamination levels could be placed into 5 categories by the test
