Abstract

The significant supplemental value of the proteins of fenugreek (methi) to those of sorghum (jowar) was demonstrated by growth and N balance studies on albino rats. The essential amino acid indices of the mixture of proteins showed no improvement. The proteins of ambadi did not possess any significant supplemental value to those of sorghum.-M. N. R.
