Abstract

The grain protein contents of 27 sorghum cv. ranged from 7.9% in Hegari (Early) to 15.2% in Feterita; sorghum had a higher protein content than maize. Amino-acid analyses of the grain of 18 sorghum cv. and 1 maize cv. showed higher leucine, alanine and phenylalanine contents in sorghum than in maize
