Abstract

In the preliminary report', it was shown that fatty acid composition of phospholipid in rice leaves was different from those in orchard grass and Italian ryegrass. In the preliminary report, however, phospholipid was isolated from other lipids by the conventional method which made use of the difference in solubilities to acetone and ether between phospholipid and the athen. It aeems not to be unlikely, therefore, that the phospholipid was contaminated with the other lipids
