Abstract

At its annual meeting in 1966, the Canadian Society of Soil Science (CSSS) formed a Nomenclature Committee whose task was to prepare a glossary of technical terms that are used in soil science in Canada. A preliminary edition of the glossary, based largely upon the glossary of the Soil Science Society of America (Soil Sci. Soc. Am. Proc. 29:330-351), was printed in English as Part II of the Proceedings of the CSSS, 1967. The present glossary contains some additional terms and some revised definitions...
