Abstract

Treatment of sorghum seed with 50 p.p.m. NAA, IBA or GA, 25 p.p.m. IAA or 4 p.p.m. 2,4-D increased the grain yield by 10%, but the difference was not significant. Seed treatment with coconut milk, 25-50 p.p.m. kinetin and 2 p.p.m. 2,4-D significantly decreased fodder [stover] yield. Except kinetin, the other treatments significantly increased the P and K uptake; effects on N uptake were not significant
