Abstract

Four unknown interchange stocks of pearl millet (Pennisetum americanum [P. glaucum]) were crossed with each other as well as with the 5 members of a tester set and 4 other interchanges. The F1s were analysed for chromosome configurations at diakinesis. The results allowed the chromosomes involved in the translocations to be identified.
