Abstract

After a brief introduction to the requirements of specimen preparation for scanning electron microscopy, the findings of studies on grains of wheat, rye, barley, rice, sorghum, maize and pearl millet are reviewed. Applications to selection, digestibility assessment and seed deterioration studies are also discussed
