Abstract

Root exudates of H. turcicum-infected sorghum plants contained less asparagine, aspartic acid, cysteine/cystine, glutamic acid, leucine, methionine, proline, serine and threonine but more alanine, histidine and phenylalanine than those of healthy plants. Exudates of healthy roots contained glycine, lysine and valine, whereas those of diseased plants did not
