Abstract

Condensed tannins from grain of 2 sorghum cultivars, when purified by gel filtration, consisted of a series of polymeric phenols which yielded cyanidin on hydrolysis. The absence of sugars after hydrolysis indicated that the condensed tannins did not include hydrolyzable tannins
