Abstract
The lines IS1510, IS3472, IS4114, IS5230 and IS6179 have some resistance to Contarinia sorghicola, and the American introduction SGIRL-MR1 is also stated to be resistant to it. Hybrids and varieties including 148, CS3541, Swarna and 370 had resistance to or tolerance of Sclerospora sp., 604, 148 and 329 to Atherigona baria and 148 to Striga sp
