Abstract

Field-plot tests were carried out in south Gujarat, India, in 1970-71 to determine the effect of various insecticide treatments for the control of Chilo partellus (Swinh.) (zonellus Swinh.)) on hybrid sorghum (CSH 1) on the incidence of Oligonychus indicus (Hirst). The data showed that soil treatment with endrin granules, and foliar sprays of endrin or carbaryl tended to favour mite infestations more than did soil treatment with phorate granules
