Abstract

Phenotypic stability for grain yield of 16 early-maturing Eleusine coracana cv. assessed in trials at 19 locations in India showed that cv. T 25-1, Dibyasinha, PES 172, PES 176, Co 8 and EC 4847 were stable in all the environments used with mean performance coupled with regression around unity and min. deviation. Cv. T 36-B, PPR 1791, PR 202 and HR 374 were better suited to superior environments, whilst cv. VL 204 and VL 7 were suited to moderate environments
