Abstract

When six Sudan grass lines and hybrids and Sudan grass X sorghum hybrids were planted in April, 1964 and when eight were planted in June, 1971, the Sudan grass X sorghum hybrids tended to yield more than Sudan grass when harvested as pasture while the reverse was true when harvesting was performed at flowering
