A discussion of the importance of seed nutrient reserves on resultant crop performance including phloem transport and transfer cells, and phloem mobile (N, P, K, S and Mg), variable phloem mobile (Co, Mo, Ni, Cu, Fe and Zn) and conditionally mobile nutrients (Ca, Mn and B).
