Abstract
The forage yield and content in sorghum were studied for two reasons using a series os sorghum hybrids obtained by crossing each of eight male-sterile lines to seven fertile lines. The GCA variances of male and their interactions for both traits were significant for individual seasons as well as pooled data. The GCA of females for green forage yield and protein content were respectively significant during monsoon and summer. The SCA component for green forage yield was significant during monsoon, whereas for protein content it was sgnificant during monsoon as well as for pooled seasons...
