Abstract

Jowar is an important Kharif crop of Jabalpur district. Madhya Pradesh where it occupies nearly 20 per cent of the total cropped area of the district. The total production of jowar in this district during 1970-71 was 13.3 thousand tons giving an average of 7.08 quintals per hectare which is far below its own genetic potentials of 29.34 quintals per hectare...
